The TAG is born, the Tavolo Agenda Giovani per Bassano 2029

As part of the nomination of Bassano del Grappa as Italian Capital of Culture 2029, the Municipality established the TAG – Tavolo Agenda Giovani, an advisory and proactive body dedicated to the new generations. The Panel was established to actively involve girls and boys in the construction of the nomination and in the development of visions, proposals and projects for the cultural future of the city and the territory.
The TAG will be composed of 10 young people aged between 18 and 27, linked to Bassano del Grappa and/or the Venetian Pedemontana area, selected through public notice. Their contribution will accompany the path towards 2029 through dialogue and co-design activities, formulation of proposals for the format, development of cultural ideas aimed at the city and the territory, participation in public meetings and dedicated workshops.
The Panel will also offer members the opportunity to interact directly with professionals, designers, cultural institutions and those involved in the nomination, transforming participation into a true experience of learning, collaboration and shared design. To recognise the time and commitment of the participants, some cultural incentives are also provided, including an MBA Club partner for Civic Museums, a subscription to the Operaestate Festival Veneto 2026 events and a book voucher worth 100 euros.
With the TAG, Bassano 2029 strengthens its intergenerational dimension: young people are not involved once the path is over, but called to contribute from the beginning to the definition of the cultural visions of the city, bringing skills, imagination and design skills on the themes of culture, active citizenship and urban transformation.

The city holds – together with the famous Palladian bridge – the largest collection of works by Antonio Canova in the world together with Possagno, as well as the most important public collection of works by Jacopo Bassano and his workshop. The Civic Museums, among the oldest in Veneto and founded in 1828, also preserve a heritage that spans the centuries and testifies to the richness of the local and national artistic tradition: from Guariento to Lorenzo Lotto, from Artemisia Gentileschi to Giambattista Tiepolo and Francesco Hayez, next to the famous Remondini graphic collections and Bassano ceramics.
